It’s Easter next weekend and I’ve been searching the net for an Easter DIY project to create a little Easter gift for family and friends. Here’s a few DIY Easter projects that have caught my eye:
This cute grocery bag easter basket on The elli blog is a great way to recycle your bags and makes a great little basket to put some yummy easter goodies in as gifts.
I think these suculents in egg shells look beautiful and again, this is an in expensive gift if you have succulents growing in your garden. Might be a good idea to start collecting the egg shells and cartons in advance so you don’t waste the eggs!
These egg shell votive candles by Martha Stewart are another nice gift that you can easliy make at home. You can find candle wax at arts and craft stores and some hardware stores. Also check out the readers comments on the page as there are some great tips to help make this a successful project.
An lastly, I loved these little easter chicks. There’s printable instructions and a pattern available on the Myrtle and Eunice blog and some very entertaining photos of all their easter chicks. I recommend checking it out.
I’m giving this last project a go. Here’s some photos of my first attempt…
More photos to come!
